Mod8 was created by Marcel Maudouit in south of France back in 1936. Right from the start Mod8 was a family business where actual family members worked to establish prospective factory and develop quality and creative line of children shoes. Over the period of next 30 years the family gained reputation and established themselves as top quality producer of kids shoes in France. In 1960 the brand expanded outside of France and begun exporting shoes internationally. Mod8 shoes became an instant hit in many countries of Europe and then Middle East. Today the store continues and grand daughter of the founder Mrs. Stephanie Maudouit is actively running the company. Today, Mod8 not only crafts quality shoes but also adds extra special features like: real mink, Swarovski crystals, decorative hardware, best processed leathers, buckles and funky company’s logos that decorate every pair of Mod8 shoes. The brand basically sets the fashion trend for the rest of the kids shoe industry in Europe. The shoes are truly beautiful and all hand made.
